Is my deposit refundable?
Deposits are non-refundable, but don’t worry—they never expire. Your deposit stays on file and will be applied when you’re ready to book.
What is your cancellation & reschedule policy?

Reschedule 48+ hours before → Deposit stays intact.

Are there age restrictions?
Yes, you must be 18 years old to get a tattoo without parental consent. Minors who are 16 or 17 can get a tattoo with written parental consent and a parent or legal guardian present.
Can I get tattooed while pregnant or breastfeeding?
Unfortunately, no. Tattooing during pregnancy or breastfeeding carries health risks, so it’s best to wait.
Can I use numbing cream?
Please do not use numbing cream prior to discussing this with Nathan.
Can I get in sooner for an appointment?
Sometimes! Subscribe to our email list for updates on last-minute cancellations and openings.
Is your studio sterile and clean?
Absolutely. Every product is single-use, disposable, and opened fresh for your session. Nathan follows strict hygiene protocols for your safety.
Can I work out after my tattoo?
Please avoid heavy exercise & sweating for 48–72 hours. Light movement is okay.
When can I apply sunscreen?
Only after full healing. Until then, its best to keep covered.
What does a consultation cost?
Nothing at all—it’s free! You can even book an in-person consult here.
How much of a deposit is required?
Deposits are based on the quote of the tattoo ranging from $150 - $400.
What does a tattoo cost?
Pricing depends on size, placement, and detail. We’ll go over this during your consultation for accuracy.
Do you take walk-ins?
No walk-ins at this time. Nathan works by consultation and scheduled appointments only.
How do I care for my tattoo?

Can I see my design before the appointment?
Nathan designs custom tattoos on the day of your first session. This keeps the artwork fresh, collaborative, and prevents designs from being copied elsewhere.
Are you licensed and qualified?
Yes. Nathan has 16 years of tattooing experience, is licensed in Colorado Springs by the El Paso County Public Health Department, and is certified in Bloodborne Pathogens Training as well as First Aid/CPR.
When can I shave over my tattoo?
You must wait 2–3 weeks, until it is fully healed.
Can I reschedule my appointment?
Of course—life happens! Just make sure to check our reschedule and cancellation policy before moving your date.
What if I reschedule with only 24 hours’ notice?
You’ll lose 50% of your deposit. A new deposit will be required to secure your new appointment.
Payment Methods
Payment deposits can be made via our safe online payment portal. All other payments can be made with credit card or cash.
Do you do cover-ups?
Cover-ups are considered case-by-case. Fill out the application form and Nathan will review your project idea.
Do you offer gift cards?
Yes! Gift cards can be purchased via our online shop
Is it going to hurt?
Any trauma to the skin will be uncomfortable and that especially applies to tattoos. Most people describe the feeling as a scratching or burning sensation. Some areas are more painful due to nerve endings and thinner skin. It varies greatly from person to person.
What kind of inks do you use?
Nathan uses only professional, trusted brands like Dynamic and World Famous—both are vegan-friendly and cruelty-free with excellent reputations worldwide.
Can I swim?
No swimming, hot tubs, or baths until fully healed (2–3+ weeks).
